I have a weakness for Italy since the first time I stepped on its land. Nice people, beautiful language, amazing architecture, history and art. That’s the reason I knew that my next trip should be in Italy but I didn’t know where exactly. I didn’t want to go to Venice again since I’ve already been there. So I checked all the flights from Bulgaria to Italy for February and the best offers were for Pisa, Naples, Bari, Bologna and Milan. I automatically excluded Milan because I preferred a smaller city at the time. At the end I chose Bologna and am not sorry at all.
Bologna is the capital city of Emilia-Romagna Region in Italy. It’s smaller and less famous compared to Florence but is actually quite a pleasant surprise. I loved it’s little streets, restaurants and cafes. It’s full of young people because there’s a university which makes it a great city for culture, history, art and also nightlife at the same time.
